The exhibition poster titled “A Way of Life: The People Behind St Giles Fair” promotes a showcase by the Museum of Oxford in collaboration with the Oxford City Council. The exhibition explores the rich cultural heritage and personal stories of the showmen and women who bring St Giles Fair to life each year. Featuring a striking carousel-inspired design, the poster evokes the vibrant atmosphere of the fair, symbolizing both tradition and community spirit. Through photographs, oral histories, and artifacts, the exhibition celebrates the enduring legacy of fairground families whose dedication has made St Giles Fair a cornerstone of Oxford’s social history.
