This custom book cover design illustrates the essence of Chinese mythology, specifically focusing on the legend of the dragonfruit. The design is centered around key elements of the myth, featuring a majestic fire-breathing dragon, a fierce Chinese warrior, and the mystical dragonfruit (pitaya), which emerges from the dragon’s flames.

According to ancient Chinese folklore, the dragonfruit was born in battle, created by dragons as they exhaled fire. The story tells of victorious warriors collecting the fruit after slaying the dragon and presenting it as a symbol of triumph to the Emperor. Consuming the dragon’s flesh was believed to grant the warriors the dragon’s strength and ferocity, elevating them to a coveted status in the Emperor’s court.
