Project Background

A poster design for the Museum of Oxford all about local food! “Oxford Digs In: Our Food Stories” is an exhibition that showcases Oxford’s culinary journey from the farms to the table.

The inspiration for the poster came from the exhibition desciption:

Working closely with local community groups, this project is exploring the journey ‘from farm to fork’. This encompasses the history of growing food in allotments, the making of famous Oxford foods, the selling of food in local shops and markets, and the cultural practices such as special occasion foods, feasts and gatherings, methods of cooking and preserving food.
